My Corregidor Island Adventure

Corregidor Island, locally called Isla ng Corregidor, is an island located at the entrance of Manila Bay in southwestern part of Luzon Island in the Philippines. During World War II, Corregidor played an important role during the invasion and liberation of the Philippines from Japanese forces. Heavily bombarded in the latter part of the war, the ruins left on the island serve as a military memorial to American, Filipino and Japanese soldiers who served or lost their lives on the island.  Corregidor is one of the important historic and tourist sites in the country.

Nowadays, all that's left in the island are ruins, tunnels and large weapons left by the aftermath of World Ward II. I was invited by my brother and her girlfriend, together with their friends, to explore this historic place.

We saw all then ruins caused by the bombings of Japanese Military during the World War II. It was said that the Japanese targeted the American Headquarters and hospitals which where the soldiers were being treated. It was also said that the reason why the hotel and suites were bombed as well was because the Japanese thought that General Douglas McArthur was staying in one of those hotel and suites. What the Japanese didn't know was the Americans and Filipinos built a tunnel where they moved their headquarters and hospitals.

We also saw the Japanese Garden of Peace where they buried all the Japanese soldiers that died in this place and the historic lighthouse which was one of the most important lights in the archipelago.

After a day tour in Corregidor Island, there is a special tour of the Malinta Tunnel. It is a night tour those who remain overnight in Corregidor. This tour allows visitors to see the different laterals of the 1,000-bed capacity Fort Mills Hospital which was used during the siege of Corregidor.

It is pitch dark inside the tunnel so the tour guide brings along a large flashlight for the tour since the hospital laterals are no longer lighted by electricity. The tour guide showed us the laterals used as medical wards. It is believed that the other remaining lateral was intended for the hospital's administrative office and also for the storage of medicines, medical supplies and hospital equipment.

Later that night, we went back to the hotel for dinner. Then we had fun at the hotel where we were staying and played a game called "Tabbo Word!" while having drinking session. We enjoyed the night because of the game. It's like our bonding of the night.

On the next day, we were supposed to catch the sun rise but we were too lazy to get up early because of what happened the night before. We just went zip lining and swimming at the area near the hotel. It was a good experience.

Wolfpack

Wolfpack is composed of four piece wolves. The idea of the name Wolfpack came from the movie "The Hangover." I took the hand shake which is like a wolf head from which was originally used by HBK and his group called The Kliq from WWF. I really am a fan of HBK. Ha ha! Then there was the NWO Wolfpack which the other member of the Kliq formed at WCW. They brought the hand shake on that group so it's also one of the reason why liked the name Wolfpack. It's not about wrestling, it's about the idea and the friendship. So from that day on, the Wolfpack was formed.

My HBK Alter Ego

My alter ego was named after the greatest wrestler of all time, the Heart Break Kid Shawn Michaels, my childhood hero. Actually, I didn't use the name because of wrestling, but it's because of his character in the WWE. Ever since I was a kid, I always use the name HBK. All of my friends called me HBK when I was young.

In WWE, the character of Heart Break Kid was a cocky villain. But aside of being a character, that's the way Shawn Michaels was. A rebel type who acted and spoke as he pleased, no matter how provocative. He's a straightforward guy and that's one thing I learned from him. That's the main reason why I named my alter ego after him.

Anyway, if you remember my last post about the HBK alter ego that I killed, he's back. The reason I killed it was because HBK is an alter ego that is kind of immature. I never thought that the time will come that I have to use it again. My HBK alter ego is back. The reason I brought back this alter ego was so that I can do things which the normal me cannot do, and it goes by the name.

So right now, I have three faces... My two alter egos and the one behind those masks.

Wrestling GOAT

When the words “greatest wrestler of all time” are mentioned, dozens of names jump to mind.

Stars of the ’60s and ’70s such as Bruno Sammartino and Buddy Rogers. Stars of the ’80s such as Ric Flair and Hulk Hogan. Stars of the ’90s such as The Rock, Steve Austin, Undertaker, and Bret Hart. You can ask 50 people, and you might get 50 different answers.

What does it take to be the greatest wrestler of all time? Wrestling talent? Mic skills? Charisma? Popularity with the fans? Merchandise sales? Selling pain? Performing well on the biggest stage?

Which wrestler combines all of the above? Which wrestler has the total package of all that is needed to be considered the best?

In my opinion, there is only one man who deserves to be called the greatest of all time.

That man’s name is Shawn Michaels.

Wrestling talent? Arguably the best ever. With a scrub of an opponent, Shawn can have a good match. With a good opponent, expect a great match. And with a great opponent such as Flair, Undertaker or Jericho, don’t be surprised to end up with the match of the year.

Mic skills? Shawn’s promos are always one of the highlights of any wrestling show.

Charisma? Shawn has that in spades.

Popularity? He routinely gets the biggest pops of the night.

Selling merchandise? Just glance at the threads on a typical wrestling audience member if you need proof.

Selling pain? Aside from Mick Foley, no one can sell like Shawn Michaels.

Shawn has an excellent move set, flawlessly combining high flying, striking, submission, and grappling. His Sweet Chin Music can come out of nowhere and is one of the most lethal finishers of all time.

Think of some of WWE’s trademark matches. The ladder match. Hell in a Cell. The ironman match. Who was in the first of all of these? Shawn Michaels. Each match was five-star caliber, or damn close.

In 2002, Shawn made his return from what many thought was a career-ending back injury. After four years away from the ring, Shawn seamlessly regained his spot as the best in the business.
At the grandest stage of them all, Wrestlemania, there is absolutely no one better than Shawn Michaels. Undertaker has his streak, but when Wrestlemania rolls around you know Michaels will most likely have the best match on the card.

The Kliq Reunion

Last April 2, 2011, The Kliq, consisting of Kevin Nash, Sean Waltman, Triple H and Shawn Michaels, made a special appearance as Shawn Michaels was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame 2011.  This blog is to commemorate the greatest wrestler of all time, the headliner, the icon, the main event, Mr. Wrestlemania, and Mr. Hall Of Fame, the Heart Break Kid Shawn Michaels. Thank you, Shawn!

The Kliq

The Kliq circa 1995

They are the reason why I watched wrestling back then. I started watching wrestling back in 1995 when I was 9 years old. I’m a fan of the old wrestling days.

What is The Kliq?
The Kliq was a backstage group in the World Wrestling Federation (WWF) during the mid-1990s, which some claim held virtually all booking power and were accused of refusing to be fair to anyone outside of the group.

The group was composed of Michael Hickenbottom, Kevin Nash, Scott Hall, Sean Waltman, and Paul Levesque. In 1996, The Kliq broke character at a house show at Madison Square Garden in an incident referred to as the “Curtain Call: The MSG Incident”, an event which affected the WWF’s subsequent storylines and development.

The Kliq was also the primary catalyst for the two most controversial stables in wrestling history: D-Generation X in the WWF and the New World Order in World Championship Wrestling (WCW).

Just Don't Give a Fuck

A lot of people ask me.. am I just bitter on things I talk about my blog..
A lot of people think that.. I'm being unprofessional coz I say some retarded shit..
To set the record straight.. this is my blog..
I can say anything I want.. whether you like it or not..
Love it, hate it..
I just don't give a fuck!

Look, I can't change the way I think..
And I can't change the way I am..
But if I offended you? Good..
Cause I still don't give a fuck!

"I've never been afraid to say what's on my mind and
I've never been afraid to talk about anything."

Space Bound

I can relate to the story of this song.

Space Bound
By Eminem

We touch, I feel a rush, we clutch, it isn't much
But it's enough to make me wonder what's in store for us
It's lust, it's torturous, you must be a sorcerous
Cause you just, did the impossible, gained my trust
Don't play games it'll be dangerous if you fuck me over
Cause if I get burnt, I'ma show ya what it's like to hurt
Cause I've been treated like dirt befo' ya
And love is "evol", spell it backwards, I'll show ya

Nobody knows me, I'm cold, walk down this road all alone
It's no one's fault but my own, it's the path I've chosen to go
Frozen as snow, I show no emotion what'so ever, so
Don't ask me why I have no love for these mo'fuckin' hoes
Blood-suckin' succubuses, what the fuck is up with this?
I've tried in this department, but, I ain't had no luck with this
It sucks but it's exactly what I thought it would be like tryin' to start over
I've got a hole in my heart from some kind of emotional roller-coasta';
Somethin' I won't go on till you toy with my emotions, so it's over
It's like an explosion every time I hold ya, wasn't jokin' when I told ya
You take my breath away, you're a supernova
And I'm a...

I'm a space-bound rocketship and your heart's the moon
And I'm aimin' right at you
Right at you
250, 000 miles on a clear night in June
And I'm aimin' right at you
Right at you
Right at you

I'll do whatever it takes, when I'm with you, I get the shakes
My body aches when I ain't with you, I have zero strength
There's no limit on how far I would go, no boundaries, no lengths
Why do we say that until we get that person that we think's
Gonna be that one and then once we get 'em, it's never the same
You want 'em when they don't want you, soon as they do, feelin's change
It's not a contest and I ain't on no conquest for no mate
I wasn't lookin' when I stumbled onto you, musta been fate
But so much is at stake, what the fuck does it take, let's cut to the chase
'Fore the door shuts in your face, promise me if I cave in and break
And leave myself open that I won't be makin' a mistake
Coz I'm a

I'm a space-bound rocketship and your heart's the moon
And I'm aimin' right at you
Right at you
250, 000 miles on a clear night in June
And I'm aimin' right at you
Right at you
Right at you

So after a year and 6 months, it's no longer me that you want
But I love you so much it hurts, never mistreated you once
I poured my heart out to you, let down my guard, swear to God
I'll blow my brains in your lap, lay here and die in your arms
Drop to my knees and I'm pleadin', I'm tryin' to stop you from leavin'
You won't even listen, so fuck it, I'm tryin' to stop you from breathin'
I put both hands on your throat, I sit on top of you, squeezin'
Til' I snap your neck like a Popsicle stick, ain't a possible reason
I can think of to let you walk up out this house and let you live
Tears stream down both of my cheeks, then I let you go and just give
And before I put that gun to my temple, I told you this

And I would've did anything for you
To show you how much I adored you
But it's over now, it's too late to save our
Love
Just promise me you'll think of me
Every time you look up in the sky and see a star
Coz I'm a

I'm a space-bound rocketship and your heart's the moon
And I'm aimin' right at you
Right at you
250, 000 miles and a clear night in June
And I'm so lost without you
Without you
Without you
